It seems that they've finally got the electricity connected to my home town of Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. They must have 'cos I've found nocto, a blog by Kirsty from Holmfirth. Aye up Kirsty!

Beer, beer and beer

Not to be left out, it's my birthday in exactly two weeks. I will remind you again. Is it me or are the girls who are half my age getting older?

Chocolate, red wine and postman's knock

And a very happy birthday to my wonderful wife Cathy who is slightly older than three today. Cathy feels a little cheated that she has to share her birthday with Sam so she's been celebrating since Saturday. I'll give her the bumps later, that'll cheer her up.

Happy birthday to my beautiful little boy Sammy who is three today. At the time of posting this there should be a kiddies' party in full swing at Neveratoss Towers. A bunch of three year olds will be overdosing on e-numbers and sugar.

Induction course

I'm being inducted today at work. I have to spend the day in a room full of eighteen year old girls who are starting work in the call centre. Still, indoor work, no heavy lifting. Ho hum!
