Good Morning Good Knight

Sometimes the smallest things make me realise what is important in life, make me so very happy that I'm a father. I went into Sam's room this morning, as usual, to say bye-bye. He was still half asleep, brandishing his toy sword as if guarding us from the dragons that he wishes really existed.

The men in my office are revolting

The, forward thinking, dress code for men where I work is collar and tie: women can wear pretty much what they want, some of them do to our great delight, some of them do not to our great delight. A quiet revolution is taking place today, every time I look up from the grindstone I see another man without his tie. One of my colleagues was taken to task on the subject this morning by a female manager wearing a very cool (as in temperature not fashion) summer skirt and open necked blouse – he told her to knob off!

Up the workers!

An eerie silence

The Aussies seem a little quiet today! No sporting achievements to crow about I suppose.
